    Introduction

Geography is unique because of its spatial perspective and interdisciplinary approach to creating a connection between natural sciences and social sciences.  This spatial lens allows geographers to visualize and analyze data in ways that other disciplines might not, often using tools like Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing. In this section we will be looking at the unique characteristics of geography and in justifying the same.
