    Nature of Geographic Information is an open geospatial textbook used at Pennsylvania State University and written by David DiBiase, with contributions by James L. Sloan II, Ryan Baxter, Wesley Stroh, Beth Fletcher King, and many students.

    The B.C. Open Textbook Project has added this book to Pressbooks, an open source authoring platform, in order to generate files that allow this book to be read on various devices, and to make revision and remixing of this material easier through editable files such as Pressbooks and WordPress XML files, ODT, ePUB, and HTML.

    Open textbooks are openly licensed using a Creative Commons license, and are offered free of charge, or as printed books that are available at cost.
